Northeast Snow, UFC 137, Daylight Savings Time

Time to take a look at Google Trends for October 30^th 2011, at approximately 10:00 AM Central Time/11:00 AM Eastern Time. A brief look at all of the things that are trending on Google, from Daylight Savings Time, Stanford Football, Hocus Pocus, UFC 137, and New York Snow and also much more. The top twenty trends going on Google for more.

CL&P: There is some wacky weather going on as the snow has popped up rather early in the Northeast than usual. Thus there have been a lot of power outrages throughout the entire North Eastern era. There have been only a small amount of people who have been struck down. With all of the technological advantages, the power still goes out in 2011 which is kind of sad.

Daylight Savings Time 2011: Coming up next week. It is just bound to screw up your life something fierce to say the very least. It should be abolished but it never will be. The time has long since passed and playing around with the dates is utterly stupid as well.

National Grid: The second of many snow related trends from the surprising snow storm in New York and the rest of the North East. In the Northeastern area, there have been 13,000 without power in the Albany era along. I think many are not ready for the winter.

Day Light Savings Time 2011: The same as the previous trend, only with “Daylight” spelled wrong. Are you ready to turn the clocks back and get your sleep schedule messed up?

Stanford Football: Good for Stanford as they won a close and electric game of Football. Their victory is trending in the news and that’s a good thing for them.

Hocus Pocus: The childhood Halloween Classic with Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker has played on television recently, as it has every year. I find this movie fascinating in many ways. Also there is no doubt a lot of hocus pocus given the Halloween season.

Andrew Luck: A Stanford Quarterback who put in an impressive performance. Reviews state that there might be some big things for Andrew Luck in the future but only time will tell.

Zombie Apocalypse:  Zombies are a huge part of Halloween. There is a movie about a potential Zombie Apocalypse. Also people believe that this might happen in 2012. There are a lot of crazy people in the world. That is all.

Boston Weather: Boston is going to get hit rather hard with this weird and early snow. And it just seems about a month ago we were dealing with three digit temperatures outside. How things change? Stay safe if you are reading this on the Northeast.

Nick Diaz: Nick Diaz for better or for worse the winter of the big UFC fight, taking out BJ Penn. Obviously given that UFC tends to be the hip thing for many, this would be trending.

Snow Storm: Crazy weather in the northeast are going to leave many people without power. And there is more insanity to come. Everyone hang onto your underpants and brace yourself for the ride.

Time Change: Another trend about the time change. The time is changing on November 6^th 2011. Don’t forget to turn the clocks back and be prepared for your sleep schedule to be rattled for at least a few days.

New York Snow: Snow is rattling the North East. There is just a great deal of insanity, way too much to deal with when one thinks about. It’s not even the end of October but the winter weather is early. A rare time where Halloween might be under snow. We’re so not prepared.

UFC 137: A rather big show, headlined naturally by Nick Diaz’s victory over BJ Penn. UFC might be on a slight decline in many ways, but it is still rather huge in many ways. One must wonder if such a sport can sustain itself but we all go through tough periods.

Steve Miller Band: The band came off of a amazing summer tour. It appears to be a hit with the fans of the Steve Miller Band fans.

Michael Myers: Either the Horror Movie icon, a high school athlete, or the guy who plays Shrek and Austin Powers. Take your pick. Given it is the season and the Halloween movies are classics, I would assume that the horror movie Michael Myers would be the one that would get the nod for the trend but you never know.

UFC Results: The big night headlined by Nick Diaz defeating BJ Penn and the retirements of Penn and Mirko Cro Crop have to be the big events for this combat sport.

Noreaster: Apparently some twisted form of Northeast, given trends due to the weather that is hitting the Northeast this weekend.

Black Friday: It comes time for Black Friday and all of the deals that go along with it. And all of the insanity. Don’t forget all of the insanity. There is a lot of insanity. Target is opening rather early, not that people don’t camp out, even if it is  freezing weather. Hopefully there won’t be any causalities on black Friday.

Boston News: Snow in the Northeast. It is insane.
