Is it Right to Ban Children from Public Places?

There have been many places as of late that have instituted a ban of children. This needless to say has sparked a rather huge debate, where many people have celebrated the move and also others who have complained that this is a gross infringement of the rights of people. Of course one must wonder about the ability of many parents, if they should in fact have children or if they do not use common sense, bringing children much too young to movie theaters, restaurants, or other establishments that people may want a more peaceful night.

Banning Children in Public Places

You know it is a shame that some public places have to institute this plan. And there is no such thing is bad children, only bad parenting. You don't teach your children manners at a young age and you don't actually bother to interact with them, and expect them to obey you when they cause a ruckus right in public, you do reap what you sow as parents. The reason that children don't have respect for their parents, is because in some cases, the parents aren't that much more mature than the children that they are raising.

And there are good children, because there are some people that actually do parent. But obviously because of a number of bad apples, everyone gets tagged by association, with the same way. No one wants to hear a whiny brat yelling and screaming, but the fault should be automatically with the parents. And what of those parents who do actually raise children in a respectable manner, that actually behave.

Most people can have children. Only some people can be parents. And that is the biggest problem with the entire situation about parenting. One of the biggest fundamental flaws in all of society is that people are encouraged to have children. Those who don't have children, are considered to be abnormal and strange. And people wonder why there are many children and later teenagers who are disrespectful little snots. Don't act all surprised when society in general creates an environment where people are pressured having children.

Most can have children. Only some people can be parents. And now there are bans, which punishes everyone. Obviously if you bring your very young child to a theater or restaurant, then they do lack some level of common sense to begin with.

Of course, many people find cell phones equally as obnoxious as screaming children. As bad as a screaming, wailing brat might seem, someone talking at the top of the lungs at a cell phone, carrying on a conversation. But children being loud and without any sense are bad, but really the fault does lie with the parents. Bad parents create bad children.

Of course, this is something that might work out well or could blow up completely. When you think about it from a business standpoint, you could be ticking off a fair amount of your customer base. It depends on whether you get more business with people with children or without children.

It is a wonder this "brat ban" has not occurred by now. Perhaps we're one step closer to my personal dream of requiring a license to be a parent but something tells me we're a big far of from that.
