The Situation in Greece and a Potentially Stronger Market

On this day, the stock market once again had a slight rally. And a lot of the rally had to do with the situation over in Greece. While many of the economies over in Europe have showed a great deal of weakness, the situation in Greece has shown a great deal of weakness. But is this stock market gain just a momentarily comeback? Has the crisis in Greece reached an end.

Greece Crisis-At An End or Only a Temporary Breather

As we have learned in the past, any measures to fix the economy are temporary at best. It could be a more longer term fix, but the dam is just always a wrong move away from bursting. The situation with the debt over in Greece could ease the crisis, at least in the meantime. It can ease the panic of the people, but temporary fixes have never lead to a great market performance.

Yet those trading and investing in the stock market across the world seems to be optimistic about the situation in Greece. You just wonder how long that optimism will hold. The proof will not be how quickly any resolution will be resolved, but rather if the crisis does not pop up again worse than ever in the coming months.

The economy of the world has been in many countries the victim of a very temporary patchwork situation. The performance of the stock market does indicate that people are going to give the benefit of the doubt that there is going to be some healing throughout 2012, not just in the United States, not in Greece, but around the world.

Is this the best time to trade in the stock market? Is the Great Recession as it has been dubbed over? Or are we just taking a breather for a brand new Crisis, perhaps worse than the Crisis in Greece. Only time will tell. Until the next time, invest in the market wisely.
