Rod Blagojevich Off to Prison Finally By 2:00 PM Today

Out of all of the corrupt politicians that pollute the United States and the world, one might argue that disgraced ex-Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was perhaps one who might have been a bit too greedy, perhaps a bit too ambitious but perhaps a bit too foolish as he got caught. As a result, after months of delay, the man's fourteen year Prison sentence begins today.

Rod Blagojevich Off to Prison on 2:00 PM on March 15th 2012 in Denver.

The office of the Illinois Governor has been full with corruption for sure across the board. And I'm sure Blagojevich won't be the last person who holds that office to be brought up on charges. If you ever think that people from Illinois are among the rather miserable sort, this is why, people like this becoming governor of our state and thus being corrupt.

And for a criminal, Rod Blagojevich sure has gotten the red carpet treatment, being able to pick his own prison. And he gets a nice extended fourteen year old vacations. Just another reason why many feel that we have gone soft in general, when our felons tend to have it nicer than many people who have never committed a crime in their life. If you want the real reason why the crime rate has gone up, that is why. So people can actually move into a better house by getting themselves arrested.

And there will be people who are boo-hooing about his wife and children. Kind of do feel sorry for the children, because they were brought into this. But no more than the average child from the average convict right off of the street. It has been said before and I'll say it again. Rod Blagojevich committed many crimes, but perhaps the biggest crime is that he did get caught. Imagining all of the stories of corrupt that we hear about in the news, the ones that should strike the most fear into you is the ones that you don't hear.

Regardless, Blagojevich is off to Denver for his fourteen year vacation in a nice prison of his choosing at the expense of the taxpayers. Hopefully this is the last that we'll hear about this disgraced political. He is on a plane, likely first class right about now, and by 2:00 PM on the Ides of March, March 15th 2012, he'll finally be reporting to prison.
