Disgraced Former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's Time on the Outside Increased By Thirty More Days.

In another stomach twisting nasty example of double standards in the United States Legal System, disgraced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich has had his stay in the real world, before he has to report to prison extended by his team of lawyers. I do hope that he sends them a Christmas card and perhaps a fruit basket, before it is far more than he really does in fact deserve for his crimes. Especially with that 14 year sentence that he was given, which was disgracefully short given the charges that he had.

Blagojevich To Report to Prison on March 15, 2012.

I would say it baffles me, but it kind of doesn’t, how politicians in the United States and really if you think about it, around the world, do in fact get away with pretty much anything. Only the ones are really stupid enough to get caught, like the disgraced former Illinois Governor are getting slapped on the wrist. These corruption charges that Blagojevich got, if this is what we hear about, think about what we don’t hear about, with other politicians.

Again, you think that Johnny Convict would get such consideration, if he boo-hooed about his family having a hard life. No, because he would be thrown right into jail, he would not get his time extended that he gets to spend before he heads right into prison.

Just disgraceful, he’s a criminal, a con artist, and still a politician, as he obviously politicked himself more freedom. All on the alleged claims that he needs to help his family move into their new home. What a crock? Anyone else, they wouldn’t have offered the consideration, but far be it for politicians to get fair and even treatment.

Fourteen years, Rod Blagojevich should consider himself rather lucky that it wasn’t far more. Given the charges laid upon him, fourteen years in prison is a drop in the hat.

Justice is blind and also rather biased apparently. That’s the lesson that many of us learn right now. Again, people boo-hoo about how his family is going to have a hard life, being brought down by their posh, rich, high end lifestyle, to the common man. The horror of it all, the horror.

No one put a gun to his head and forced Blagojevich to do the things he did. He is a criminal and has many people blinded to his crime. He will be a politician to the very end.

A happy article as we continue our Christmas countdown later, devoid of any talk of politics.
