15 More Days of Christmas Shopping Left

Sixteen more days and counting until Christmas. Which means it is only about fifteen more shopping days until Christmas, for those places that are still open on Christmas Eve. There are many who decide to wait until the absolutely possible last minute. And when people mean the absolutely last minute, we do in fact mean the absolutely last minute.

Do you have your gifts?

If you have your gifts, do you have them wrapped?

Sending out Christmas cards, really should be done by the end of this coming week or early next week. For us people in the United States especially. There are going to be a lot of times where the mail can rather be a bit slower. And in the new year, all of those postal offices are closing. For those of us who still send Christmas cards or use the postal service, things are going to be a bit more tricky.

Do you go out to the store to do your shopping? Winter weather is here. Driving should be limited to what is necessary to avoid congesting the already hazardous roads. The longer you wait to do your Christmas shopping, the more chance you’ll get caught into some storm. If you believe predictions, it might be another harsh winter for many places.

Or do you decide to order items through the mail? When you order online, and even on express shipping, it might be delayed. With a lot of people ordering online during this time, items being put on backorder. Something that takes a week normally might take two, three, four, whatever. Obviously you only have two. And overnight shipping is only a suggestion, not a right.

We live in a world of procrastination. There are many reasons why people delay their Christmas shopping but perhaps we should be saving and preparing a bit sooner. There are many issues around the world.

It’s not too late, but the sands of time are pouring it. You keep putting it off and putting it off and before you know it, Christmas will be days away and you still have shopping to do.

Panic sets in.

Horrors set in along with it.

You vow to start your shopping earlier next you.

Will you?

Well only time will tell.
