Man Steals Judge's Nameplate and Post Picture On Facebook
Every one of these stories seems to involve Facebook. Which really does cast a rather damning bit of light on people who use Facebook and their intelligence or lack there of. Obviously IQ is not a requirement to get a Facebook account as stories like this remind us anew time and time again. So this gentleman, decides to steal the nameplate of a judge. Granted, one would assume that this would be a good enough crime if you can get away with it. A rather daring move, the rush of stealing something, the rush of really snatching a prized item, from someone like a judge. That is a really good criminal account.
So do you
A) Put the Nameplate Up as A Souvenir for your Criminal Achievement
B) Dispose of the nameplate in a place where it cannot be traced back to you.
C) Take a picture of said nameplate and put it up on Facebook
If you answered anything other than C)...well you're about as bright as this guy. I think this might be about the third criminal that I've talked about that has been undermined by social media and Facebook and there is more to come I'm sure and more examples that I've never heard of.
I know the law has to be monitoring Facebook. They have to be. Because it has been proven time and time again that people post evidence of their misdeeds on that place. Nothing on Facebook is private. That's a lesson many people fail to have learned.
